The competition for a cooperative housing project in Munich asks for the design of a new collaborative housing unit with different spaces for contemporary housing concepts, such as communal-shared spaces or nucleus units. The project idea is based on the very heterogeneous program of the competition. We transformed the spatial composition of existing housing projects in Munich from the early 20th century into the layout of communal spaces for the new cooperative housing project. The facade refers to the context and existing buildings of the periphery.
